Bend EVA foam and keep the form by heat

-How to do
Heat EVA foam and bend.
Cool it as it is , then it keep a form in the time of bending.

Use 5mm thick EVA foam for example. Heat with a Heat gun or a Steam iron etc and bend.

-Heating tools

[Heat gun]
Heat gun is a drier for industrial use.
The heat is strong more than general driers.
If you don't wanna use fire, use this.
-Store:D.I.Y shop
-Price:2500Yen~ (about 130Yen = 1dollar)



[Steam iron]
Normaly steam iron can heat too.
-Store:D.I.Y shop, Electrical appliance store
-Price:2500Yen~ (about 130Yen = 1dollar)


*You can use fire too.
I wrote about except Heat gun for reference.
However it's dangerous. I recommend Heat gun
If accedents happens, it's self-responsibility.

[Lighter]
Small things are heated with Lighter mainly.
Lighter with nozzle is convenience.

[Gas toach]
Big things like armors can be also bended with Lighter.But it takes taime.
Then, using Gas toach is good.

Gas toach is a machine come out fire hardly.
A commodity with a trigger is so useful.



If gas disappers, you can buy only gas bombe.



-Cooling tools
If you don't wait untile cooling, you may cool it by tools.
Use such as below things.
-Water
-Wet towels

Attention in the work
-When you uses a thing including the thinner(Bond, lacquer thinner etc) or spray, make good ventilation.
And wear a gas mask.

-When you toast mterials etc, make good ventilation.
And don't breathe smoke, don't put smoke in your eyes.

-When you dig mterials etc with Soldering iron, make good ventilation.
And don't breathe in smoke, don't put smoke in your eyes.

-Don't use fire near the things which are easy to burn such as paint, thinner etc.

-When you finished using tools, pull an outlet.

-Read labels of materials and tools, and understand how to use.
